Things seem to come in ying and yang pairs sometimes. First, mystery viruses then an opportunity! An old aquaintance is (re)starting a website. It is an electronic newspaper/newsletter for Zoocity, where we both live (it's a sort of ex-hippy, neo-hacker commune in the outback of Australia. My parents moved out there in the 60s to get away from it all, but my generation wired the place up and turned it into geek-central. Since then it has become somewhat a hub of business and social activity in the region). I emailed the usual suspects on my mailing list (including him) about this blog, he read about me wanting to do a new website and bingo, he wants me to help out and write for the thing.
