Finished Art of Happiness, now on to Michael Moore's Dude, Where's My Country. All the techniques of remaining calm I learnt from the former are useless when reading the latter. Like all of Mike's work, a quick read between the lines reveals his strong left agenda, but the facts he digs up about the right (and the left, for that matter) side of politics are sickening. Our descendents will not look kindly on this part of human history, especially for my country (Australia) and the "mighty" United States of America.

Bush, you should wake up to yourself. Your scheming, plotting and manipulation for world dominance and corporate greed is second rate at best. Even a mildly educated person can see what you are doing. Your predecessors (Caesar, Napoleon, Hitler, - yes, HITLER!, Stalin etc) did what you are trying to do with much more skill and cunning. I don't know what's worse, you assuming that your populace (and the world in general) is so stupid or the fact that you appear to be right. At least the French, Germans, Russians, Chinese, Kiwis and the vast majority of the civilized world can see right through you.

Don't think for a second that the Aussies didn't see right through you, you just dangled a free-trade carrot in front of our EXTREMELY weak leader John Howard. If we had a SINGLE person able to lead stronger than him (and it is a sign of our sad state that we don't) we would have told you to shove your strutting up your arse.

As for your buddy Blair, I am making it my mission to find out what you offered him. His actions make no intelligent sense. And if the truth doesn't come out, I'll just spread the rumour that the French were going to wipe the English off the face of the Earth once and for all (they helped the US do it in their territory a couple of hundred years ago) for not wanting to fully commit to being part of Europe. And England ran to Big Brother like a crying wimp. This theory would explain why you, Bush, chose France out of the 150+ countries who opposed your "My balls are bigger than yours" Iraq posturing to lay the blame on.

Whatever the reasons, I have no doubt now that they are retarded, weak, cowardly, self-serving and pitiful. History will look at the regimes of Bush, Blair and Howard with disdain. I hope those three can sleep at night knowing that even their descendents will change their names rather than be associated with them.
