Oh my God, how could this have happened without anybody noticing!!! The world, especially America, is becoming more and more conservative, and has been doing so since the 60s.
But if this were true there would have been evidence, surely. If you study your history, there are always key indicators. A shift to conservatism is accompanied by an increase in the gap between rich and poor. Surely our top executives of our top mulitnationals aren't earning more than the average joe? Or at least, more than a couple of million average Joes. If we were heading right, one would begin to notice a shift in the amount of money that goes to social welfare and the medical/educational sectors towards big business. Oxymoronic phrases like "work for the dole" would be bandied about. The big giveaway that highlights a conservative era is war, the focus becomes about protecting "me and mine" and away from trying to create a world of peace. Picking on the little people, destabilising the countries with unfriendly governments and useful resources.
Now, unless I have been living under a rock, I am pretty sure none of these indicators are in play. This is the work of terrorists, I reckon. Rich leaders of international organisations with no care for social harmony, education, health, warmongering oil hungry terrorists. Like that Osama Al Bush guy everyone keeps mentioning on the talking box.
